UCL: Osimhen Helps Napoli Beat Braga Away, Sadiq Features In Sociedad’s Home Draw Vs Inter

Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen was in action for Napoli who beat Sporting Braga 2-1 away in their UEFA Champions League Group C opener on Wednesday.
Osimhen played up till the 90th minute before he was replaced by Giovanni Simeone.
Napoli opened the scoring by Giovanni Di Lorenzo in one minute of first half added.
In the 84th minute Sporting Braga equalised thanks to Bruma before an own goal in the 88th minute by Sikou Niakate sealed the win for Napoli.
Up next for Napoli in the Champions League is a home tie against Real Madrid.
In Spain Umar Sadiq came on in the 72nd minute in Real Sociedad’s 1-1 draw at home to Inter Milan in Group D.
Brais Mendez had given Sociedad the lead just four minutes into the clash but Lautaro Martinez drew Inter level on 87 minutes.
At the Emirates Arsenal announced their return to Champions League with a resounding 4-0 win against PSV in Group B.
The star match of the day saw Bayern Munich edge Manchester United 4-3 in Group A at the Allianz Arena.
In other Champions League results, Sevilla was held to a 1-1 draw by visiting Lens, Copenhagen and Galatasaray settled for a 2-2 draw, Real Madrid pipped Union Berlin 1-0 and Benfica lost 2-0 at how to Salzburg.
