The defender hopes to accrue some minutes before the end of the season
Joe Gomez has been sidelined since picking up a hamstring injury against Plymouth Argyle in the FA Cup in early February, but was pictured in training on Friday ahead of Liverpool’s first home match since winning the title.
Liverpool will face Arsenal on Sunday seemingly with a clear bill of health, though Gomez is unlikely to start so soon after returning to training.
The defender will be eyeing a return to the pitch before the season is up, however, though Arne Slot has said that Conor Bradley will start at right back this weekend.
