Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez admits he feels he’s achieved everything he wants in football.
Argentina international Martinez is now a World Cup winner and admits he now feels complete at that level.
He told DSports: “I feel like football has passed. But you always want more. Yes, I want to win the Champions League, the Europa League… But at the level of the Argentina national team, we have achieved everything.
“The Champions League is more about Europe. I have been living there for 12 years and it would be a huge achievement to win something with Aston Villa. I have always dreamed of playing in the World Cup, not in the Champions League.
“I have already fulfilled my dream. Winning the Champions League is a bonus, but not my dream.”
