Rivers United captain Festus Austin has rued his side’s exit in the ongoing CAF Confederation’s Cup after the team suffered a 1-0 loss to Egyptian side Al Masry to get knocked out on the away goals rule having been tied at 2-2 aggregate over the course of two legs.
Austin spoke in a chat with brila.net that the Nigeria Professional Football League side gave it their all but that their all wasn’t just enough to see the team through to the group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup.
