Will Zalatoris is coming off a dramatic playoff win from last week’s St. Jude Championship. He will look to replicate his success in Wilmington this week. On the other hand, Scottie Scheffler missed the cut last week. He will try to bounce back here and finish strongly before the Tour Championship at East Lake next week. Patrick Cantlay won the BMW Championship last year and the Tour Championship a week later to claim the FedEx Cup.
The BMW Championship 2022 will field 68 players, with world no. 2 Cameron Smith and Tommy Fleetwood withdrawing. After this event, only 30 players in the FedEx Cup standings will enter the next playoff event at East Lake in Atlanta.
