Former Manchester United defender, Rio Ferdinand, has called on the Red Devils not to hesitate but to pay Super Eagles striker, Victor osimhen’s asking price if they are to land him this summer.
Recall that the Nigerian international has been the most sought-after player this summer after his impressive goal scoring display with Napoli last season.
Osimhen scored 31 goals all competitions for the Naples as they claim the Serie A title.
Erik ten Hag is in the market for a new striker and have been linked with Osimhen, Harry Kane and Rasmus Hojlund.
Ferdinand reckons Osimhen would be the ideal forward for the club and urged United to pay his asking price.
“Do it. Look at the market. Who else is there? There’s no one ready-made,” Ferdinand was quoted by United in Focus.
