Super Eagles forward Alex Iwobi was announced Fulham’s Man of the Match in their Carabao Cup second round win against Norwich on Wednesday.
Fulham announced Iwobi as the winner in a statement on their website.
Iwobi polled 47.5% of supporters votes to beat Fodé Ballo-Touré who got 13.7% and Marek Rodák who claimed 11.9%.
He scored his first goal for Fulham as they edged Norwich 2-1 to progress into the round of 16.
It was the former Arsenal and Everton’s player’s full debut which he marked with an assist and a goal,
Fulham’s next round opponent is a trip to lower division side Ipswich.
Iwobi missed the Super Eagles final 2023 AFCON qualifier against São Tomé and Principe due to injury.
