Super Eagles striker netted a stoppage time penalty to earn Bayer Leverkusen a 1-0 win at Qarabag in Group H of the Europa League on Thursday.
With the game heading for a stalemate, Leverkusen were awarded a penalty which Boniface converted on 94 minutes.
It is now four wins out of four group games for Bayer Leverkusen who top on 12 points.
Also, Leverkusen have won their last 11 consecutive games.
In France, Liverpool’s seven-game unbeaten run came to an end after they lost 3-2 away to Toulouse in Group E.

Heading into the game against Toulouse, Liverpool last tasted defeat in the controversial 2-1 loss to Tottenham Hotspur on September 30.
Despite the loss, Liverpool still remain in first place on nine points, Toulouse are second on seven points.
Union SG (four points) and LASK (three points) are third and fourth respectively.
Also in other Europa League early kickoff, Ajax lost 2-0 at home to Brighton, former champions Villarreal beat Maccabi Haifa 2-1, Slavia Prague beat Roma 2-0 and Rennes defeated Panathinaikos 3-1.
