Super Eagles striker netted a stoppage time penalty to earn Bayer Leverkusen a 1-0 win at Qarabag in Group H of the Europa League on Thursday.
With the game heading for a stalemate, Leverkusen were awarded a penalty which Boniface converted on 94 minutes.
It is now four wins out of four group games for Bayer Leverkusen who top on 12 points.
Also, Leverkusen have won their last 11 consecutive games.
In France, Liverpool’s seven-game unbeaten run came to an end after they lost 3-2 away to Toulouse in Group E.
