Europe’s football governing body, UEFA, has praised hat-trick hero Gift Orban, in Thursday’s Europa Conference League.
Orban netted Gent’s three goals in their 3-2 win away to Iceland side Breidablik in Group B.
The 21-year-old put Gent 1-0 ahead in the 6th minute before a brace from Svanthorsson on 16th and 18th gave Breidablik a 2-1 lead.
Orban drew the Belgian side level in the 54th minute after scoring from the penalty spot.
He then completed his hat-trick in the 69th minute to make it 3-2.
Reacting to the feat, UEFA wrote on their Europa Conference League X handle:” The that keeps on giving!⚽️⚽️⚽️.”
