Ahead of Thursday’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, former Nigeria international, Tijani Babangida has advised the Super Eagles to attack Lesotho from start to finish.
Recall that Nigeria host Lesotho as the team will kickoff their quest of qualifying for the World Cup to be jointly hosted by the United States of America, Canada and Mexico
In a chat with Completesports.com, Babangida stated that the Super Eagles must impose themselves on Lesotho in order to pick the maximum points.
“It’s on record that we have not lost against Lesotho in three of the matches that we have played and I expect the Super Eagles to maintain that record.

“We must attack Lesotho from start to finish and ensure that the goals rains heavily on them. The quality of players in the team should be able to get the job done.”
According to CAF, winners of each Group will automatically qualify for the FIFA World Cup 2026.
The four best runners-up (from the Groups) will play in a CAF Play-Off tournament.
The winner of the CAF Play-Off Tournament will play in the FIFA Play-off Tournament to potentially be the 10th African nation.
