Onuachu’s Goal Vs Istanbul Basaksehir Earns Trabzonspor Win, Europa League Qualification

Paul Onuachu continued his brilliant scoring run as he netted the only goal as Trabzonspor pipped Istanbul Basaksehir 1-0 in the Turkish Super Lig on Saturday.
The win secured Trabzonspor a Europa League qualification ticket for next season with one game left to play in the top-flight.
Also, the victory at Istanbul Basaksehir means Trabzonspor in third place, on 64 points, cannot be caught again by fourth place Istanbul Basaksehir who are on 58 points.
Onuachu scored in the second minute of first half stoppage time.

It is his 15th goal in 21 league appearances in his loan spell at Trabzonspor.
Also, he has scored four goals in his last three games in all competitions for the Turkish club.
Onuachu and his Trabzonspor teammates will be looking to end the season on a high when they face Besiktas in the Turkish Cup final on Thursday, 23 May, 2024.
Trabzonspor last won the Turkish Cup in the 2019/20 season which was their ninth title.
