France coach Didier Deschamps has disclosed that he has not regret benching Kylian Mbappé against Netherlands in the ongoing Euro 2024 championship.
Recall that the Dutch played out a goalless draw against France on Friday in their second group game.
Mappé, who signed with Real Madrid shortly before the championship, suffered a nose injury in the opening game after colliding with the shoulder of Austrian defender Kevin Dans.

He is expected to finish the tournament in Germany wearing a special protective mask.
However, Deschamps in a chat with TribalFootball, stated that Mbappe will be available for the last game.
“Kylian’s condition is improving every day. If we were playing a decisive game I would probably think differently, but it was wiser to leave him on the bench,” Deschamps said.
“We certainly didn’t bluff in any way. It would have been a risk, this way we got extra time,” added the 2018 world champions’ coach.
