Nigeria forward, Alice Ogebe was among the scorers as FC Masar delivered a 7-0 victory over Modern in the Egyptian Women’s Cup quarter-finals on Tuesday.

Reigning Egyptian Women’s Premier League champions Masar made light work of their opponents, with Hala Abdel Sammad netting a brace.

Ogebe, Fatma Mohamed, Yasmeen And Elaziz, and Mahra Ali also got on the scoresheet to seal an emphatic win.

The result sets up a semi-final clash between FC Masar and Al Ahly, where Ogebe will go head-to-head with fellow Nigerian striker Charity Reuben.

The two teams are currently the top contenders in the Egyptian Women’s Premier League.

Meanwhile, Al Ahly booked their spot in the last four with an even bigger victory, thrashing Maady 9-0 in their own quarter-final match.

The quarter-finals also saw a strong Nigerian influence, with four Nigerian players finding the back of the net.

Cynthia Onyedikachi, Yetunde Fajobi, Chinaza Agoh, and Alice Ogebe all scored for their respective clubs.
