A report from John Percey of the Telegraph on Wolves’ 23-year-old Algerian left-back Rayan Ait-Nouri has shed some light on Liverpool FC’s transfer plans for this summer.
With striker Matheus Cunha looking likely to leave the Midlands club this summer, Wolves are keen to retain their left-back and tie him down to a new deal with two years remaining on his current one. He has played well since Vitor Pereira took up the manager position in December.

A few fans may remember the Reds being linked to Ait-Nouri at the end of last season, but nothing really materialised over the summer. Now, Liverpool are linked most strongly to Bournemouth’s Milos Kerkez, while another suitor up north, Manchester City, seems to have cooled their interest significantly.
