The busiest Liverpool FC transfer window in some time continues to roll on.
Per Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg, Liverpool FC have officially thrown their hat in the ring for Eintracht Frankfurt’s 22-year-old attacker Hugo Ekitike.
The Frenchman registered 22 goals and 12 assists in 48 games in all competitions for Frankfurt this season, which has made him one of the hottest names on the transfer market, leading an impressive group of striking options including Benjamin Sesko and Viktor Gyokeres.
The next big target from the Bundesliga: Understand FC Liverpool are now seriously in the race for Hugo #Ekitike!

In the past two days, rumours have emerged of Chelsea making a move for Ekitike, and it now appears that Liverpool will rival them for his services.
With the impending arrival of Florian Wirtz, one may have thought that Liverpool would maybe compromise on the striker position and go for a cheaper target, but that does not appear to be the case.
It’s shopping season and Liverpool FC are not shopping at the discount aisle. We’ll see how this one plays out.
