Nigeria’s D’tigrees booked their place in the final of the 2021 Women Afro-Basket after beating rivals Senegal in the semi-final on Friday.
The defending Champions dominated the Segalese from start to finish to put them on the brink of another African title.
D’tigers won the first three quarters 22-11, 23-20, 15-13, before the Senegalese fought back to take the fourth quarter 12-19.
The game final ended 73-63 points in favor of Nigeria and they have now beating the Senegalese back to back in the tournament .
Nigeria will lock horns with Mali in the final of the tournamentslated for Sunday.
Mali eliminated host, Cameroon 52-51 at the Palais Polyvalent Des Sports in Yaounde.
A win for Nigeria will hand them their fifth women Afro-Basket title in history.
